Working with Me
If you’re at a career crossroads—or quietly wondering whether the “successful” path you’re on is actually yours—coaching can offer a steady space to listen for what’s true and move forward with intention.
We’ll work with the full context of your life and career: your direction and your energy. Often, an early outcome is a written True North Narrative—a compass you can return to as you make decisions and choose next steps.
How Coaching Works
Coaching is a practical partnership. We slow things down enough to get clear, then move forward with intention. We work with the full context of your life and career—your direction and your energy—so progress is meaningful and sustainable. Together, we’ll:
Clarify your True North
Next, we get specific about what you actually want (not just what’s expected), and what “aligned” means in real-life terms. Often, we capture a written True North Narrative—a compass you can return to as you make decisions and choose next steps.
See the landscape clearly
We start with what’s happening now: what’s working, what’s not, and the patterns beneath the surface story. This reduces noise and helps you name the real tension you’re facing—so you can respond thoughtfully rather than reactively.
Shape and practice the path
Then we translate clarity into lived action: experiments, conversations, boundaries, and practices that fit your context. We pay attention to what happens, learn from it together, and refine—so the change holds under real conditions.
This isn’t about forcing a big leap. It’s about building clarity, confidence, and momentum one practical step at a time.

Ways to Work Together
Many clients start with the True North Core—enough time to get clear, test real changes, and build momentum that lasts.
True North Core
Best for: career crossroads, pivots, or “successful-but-off” seasons where you want traction that lasts.
You’ll leave with:
• A written True North Narrative you can keep returning to
• A grounded way forward you can live week to week (not just ideas)
• Practices and support that help change take root
Format: Intake + 9 sessions • 60 minutes • weekly or biweekly (over 3-5 months)
Core: For people who want to move forward with clarity and intention.
True North Sprint
Best for: a clear decision point or transition—when you want clarity fast and a grounded next step.
You’ll leave with:
• Clear decision criteria you can apply and stand behind
• Next conversations and steps to move forward with confidence
• Small, intentional experiments to replace rumination with evidence
Format: Intake + 3 sessions • 60 minutes • typically over 4–6 weeks
Sprint: For when one decision is taking up too much mental space (and you want to get moving again).
Sustain
Best for: ongoing support during demanding stretches, key transitions, or staying aligned over time. Typically for existing clients (often after Core).
You’ll leave with:
• A steady space to reflect, recalibrate, and stay honest
• Boundaries and communication practices that hold under pressure
• Ongoing iteration as new demands (and opportunities) emerge
Format: Monthly partnership • 2 sessions/month • light async support
Sustain: For staying yourself as the path shifts or the role expands.

Coaching FAQ
-
No. Coaching is future- and action-oriented. We focus on clarity, choice, and building practices that support meaningful change. Therapy typically focuses more on healing, diagnosis, or clinical mental health. If you’re unsure which is right for you, we can talk it through during a chemistry call.
-
Thoughtful, high-performing professionals navigating a crossroads or transition—when something feels off, a pivot feels real-but-fuzzy, or responsibilities are expanding and you want to stay aligned.
-
Sprint is best for a defined decision point or transition. Core is the most common path when you want clarity that holds and change you can live with over time. Sustain is for ongoing partnership during demanding seasons.
If you’re unsure, we’ll choose together after a chemistry call.
-
Both. I work with clients via video across the U.S. and internationally, and I also meet in person in the North Carolina Triad.
-
What you share stays between us. I don’t record sessions or use AI or transcription tools unless we explicitly agree to it in advance. Confidentiality and trust are foundational to this work.
-
That’s exactly what the chemistry call is for. We’ll talk through what you’re navigating and see whether my approach feels like a good match—no pressure to decide either way.
